If you think childhood obesity is not a problem, think again: In the past three decades the number of obese children-those with a Body Mass Index in the 95th percentile or higher-has doubled for 2 to 5 year olds and tripled for those ages 6 to 11.

Childhood obesity leads to numerous health issues, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. With one out of every five children in the United States considered overweight it is easy to see just why we as parents must focus on teaching our children how to exercise.

What Can You Do?

Teach your children to play!

Our Fit Kid classes run concurrently with Booty Camp for Women and are held at the same location, so you can drop your child off for some exercise time while you exercise yourself! Show your children what you want them to do and they will follow! Our program:

  • Is designed by a personal trainer
  • Is led by a trained teacher with CPR certification
  • Focuses on teaching cardio, strength, team sports, stretching and fun exercise
  • Was developed for kids over the age of three (those younger may remain in stroller for Booty Camp for Women!)

Classes are just $3 for the first child, $2 for each additional child in your family. Specialized classes such as karate, dance and soccer may run more. This class caps out at 10 children, so while reservations are not necessary, spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
