If you think childhood obesity is not a problem, think again: In the past three decades the number of obese children-those with a Body Mass Index in the 95th percentile or higher-has doubled for 2 to 5 year olds and tripled for those ages 6 to 11.

Childhood obesity leads to numerous health issues, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. With one out of every five children in the United States considered overweight it is easy to see just why we as parents must focus on teaching our children how to exercise.

What Can You Do?

Teach your children to play!

Our Fit Kid classes run concurrently with Fit Mom, so you can drop your child off for some exercise time while you exercise yourself. Show your children what you went them to do and they will follow! Our program:

  • Was designed by a personal trainer
  • Focuses on teaching strength, stretching and fun exercise
  • Was developed for kids over the age of two

Classes are just $3 for the first child, $2 for each additional child in your family. Specialized classes such as karate, dance and soccer may run more. Reservations necessary for specialized classes.

Spaces are limited, so reservations are required. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee a space in the class.
